Guillem Hernandez Sola

Guillem is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Automation Engineer and Load & Performance Engineer. Guillem spends the days working on making software more reliable by driving adoption of performance best practices, standards, and protocols. Guillem is specialized in starting and building QA programs and load performance testing. 

Guillem has an extensive knowledge on automated testing using technology such as Selenium, RC and WebDriver. Guillem has extensive experience with programming in Java, Python, Ruby, PHPGrid and advanced knowledge of implementing cloud testing platforms. 

Through Guillem's technology experience, he has acquired extensive skills with Version Control Systems and Software Configuration Management tools such as Subversion, Mercurial, Git and CA Harvest. With his enteprise technology experience, Guillem has also developed solutions that have made use of Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson and CruiseControl), Continuous Delivery & Release Automation (CA Release Automation) and Project & Change Management tools (JIRA and Redmine, for example). 

Guillem is also fully conversant with a number of Development Methods such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Lean. He is also an expert on Appium and Mobile Apps Automation. Guillem has been a coordinator and a leader in testing processes, test strategies and plans, defect documentation and regression, and defect management. 

One of Guillem’ greatest project achievements was implementing a solution that reduced the Software Release Regression efforts for a large payment gateway organisation from 2 days to 20 minutes using test automation.
