Tool Summary

Typemock Isolator is a tool that enables C# and Visual Basic developers to write unit tests in an easy, reliable, and fast manner. Typemock Isolator is tightly integrated with MS Visual Studio. You can write, run, and debug tests and see code coverage from within the MS Visual Studio user interface. In addition, Typemock Isolator provides an Application Programming Interface (API). This API helps you write simple and human readable tests which are completely isolated from the production code.

It helps to :

Test code such as statics, privates and non-virtual methods.
Mocks entire object models
No need to change the legacy code

Smart Runner - After each build the Smart-Runner runs in the background only tests effected by recent code changes. This gives immediate indication of newly introduced bugs.
Visual Coverage - Indicates which parts of the code is covered by unit tests and which are not.
Test Code Auto-completion - cut down the time and effort
Mock Everthing - write tests for any code, including legacy code, ASP.Net, SharePoint, 3rd party library or your code.
Test Guidance - review the tests, identify poorly written tests and helps in improving them.
Low Maintenance Assurance - Tests written are change resistant and refactoring your code will no longer fail tests. API include Auto-Recursive fakes and automatic dependency faking that reduce test maintenance.
